My name is Brian F. Ventura and Lakewood has been my home for nearly three decades, and my decision to run is rooted in a deep passion for our city's future. I believe in transparent governance, open communication, and the power of collective action to drive positive change.
Growing up in a blue-collar family, watching my father and grandfather work as 407 Teamsters, and my dad as a union steward, instilled in me the unwavering importance of fair treatment and a strong sense of community responsibility, a commitment that extends to all residents.
My professional background as an Information Systems Engineer, with expertise in project management, equips me to bring a strategic and solutions-driven approach to City Council.
As a City Council Member. I will diligently work towards:
